Gavin Larsen is a Registered Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioner and Acupuncturist (R.Ac., R.TCM.P.), who earned his Doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine Diploma in 2014 from Nelson, BC. With a strong foundation in classical training, Gavin’s practice now centers on sports acupuncture and athletic recovery, incorporating techniques like orthopedic and electro-acupuncture, cupping, and gua sha to address musculoskeletal pain, enhance range of motion, improve digestive health, and promote overall wellness.
Gavin was introduced to acupuncture in 2008 and experienced profound personal healing that inspired his journey into Chinese Medicine. His holistic and integrative approach emphasizes client education and empowerment. Drawing from his experience as an instructor at Pacific Rim College in Victoria, BC, he tailors treatments to each individual’s unique needs, helping them achieve their health, performance, and mobility goals.

Samantha Petrin, Vancouver, BC Craniosacral Therapy and Breathwork Facilitation
Dr. Samantha Petrin is fascinated by the mental emotional body and its innate wisdom. She has seen how trauma is stored in the body and manifests as physical dysfunction. Her approach to healing focuses on building resilience by creating safe spaces to process unintegrated stressful life events. She finds somatic based practices to offer the most direct benefit by working with the nervous system and helping the body heal itself from physical dysfunction.
Dr. Sam has a practice focus in gut health and mental health. She is particularly excited when helping patients with anxiety, PTSD, nervous system dysregulation, and digestive issues (IBS, chronic constipation, gas and bloating, etc.). She has additional training in Craniosacral Therapy and Breathwork Facilitation and offers these therapeutic modalities for nervous system regulation. Her scope of practice includes clinical nutrition, lifestyle counselling, botanical medicine, physical examinations, acupuncture, gua sha and cupping, and laboratory & diagnostic testing.

Passionate about educating dancers and athletes, she empowers clients through mindful exercises and personalized treatment plans.
